But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
Galatians 4:4-7
I call crying a universal language. The first language every child speaks is crying. Both the natural birth and the spiritual birth have their instinctive cry. The inborn cry of sonship in every born-again child of God with the aid of the Holy Spirit ascends straight to the heart of the Heavenly Father. Creation cries. The cherubim around the throne cry out Holy! Holy! Holy is he Lord God Almighty. Sin has a voice and cries for judgment. The Blood of Jesus cries mercy and grace. The Holy Spirit cries to the lost to turn to Jesus Christ and be saved. I pray that nothing numbs your spirit in this hour of great pressure to cry to the living God for your salvation and those around you.
