Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure.

When the tempter came to tempt our Lord, he kept saying to Jesus, if you are the Son of God… There is no greater greatness a person can be in the universe than to be a child of the living God! We are called to behold. It is a thing to think about, fix gaze on, and grasp its significance and awe. The struggle for recognition ends and the angst for reputation and prominence fizzles away. Our Lord Jesus Christ conquered Satan by the knowledge of who He is. Creation is in a passionate quest for the manifestation of the sons of God. There is no greater glory than this. Christ is coming, and His coming will bring the full unveiling of the glory of the children of the living God.
