But Jesus told him, “Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead.”

For us all, the Lord Jesus has one will and plan in this New Year 2023, and His plan is: Follow me in 2023. Follow me more closely this year, follow my mind, and follow my thoughts. He says: “I am the light of the world, he that follows me, will not stumble in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
To the disciples, He said: “If you will come after me, deny yourself, take up your cross and follow me!” To the rich young ruler, He said: “Go, empty yourself, give all and follow me!” To the scribe who wanted to follow Him for selfish reasons He said: “The son of man has nowhere to lay his head so do not follow me for shelter.” To the disciple who was much entangled with family care and wanted to care for his father till he dies and then he will be ready to follow Jesus said: “Let the dead bury their dead but come and follow me!
If you look back, you are no more worthy.
Follow Him.
