My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. The voice of the Shepherd is the security of the sheep. Now in the world and even in the church, there are many voices. And many are carried away through these many and conflicting voices. The voice of the Shepherd is the voice of authority and order. The sheep must know not just the voice but also the heart of the Shepherd. This gives the sheep maximum protection because a false shepherd can mimic the voice, but he can never have the accent of the Shepherd. God wants His children totally secured in His Son Jesus. We must follow hard after the heart of God. So that neither our own heart nor the voice of the enemy can be able to separate us from the love of God.
