With the bodily resurrection of our Lord Jesus comes the ultimate shift of authority and power. As He declared, all power in heaven and earth is given unto me. He ascended and sat down on the right hand of power and authority waiting till His enemies be made His footstool. How can this be? The Bible declares, the Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion, that is the Church! Rule though in the midst of thine enemies. The Church is the scepter of His power and dominion. This is the high heavenly calling. Christ has given the Church His blood-bought authority and He demands that we enforce His rule on earth.
