The Lord Jesus knowingly, willingly, deliberately, and purposely fixed face like a flint to Jerusalem. He knew his hour has come, the very purpose for He was conceived and born into this world, knowing fully well what awaited Him in Jerusalem. He had to fulfill the Book, drink the full cup of the wrath of God on sin to redeem humanity from sin. May we at this time set our faces like flints and step up to the high calling of God in our lives by carrying our crosses daily and follow Him.
